Boy Scouts of America Greater Los Angeles Area Council to Honor Christopher Rising as ‘2019 Business Leader of the Year’
The Greater Los Angeles Area Council, Boy Scouts of America is holding its 12th Annual Business Leaders Breakfast, a leadership recognition and networking event for the Metropolitan Los Angeles business community, in support of the youth in the GLAAC programs for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Explorers and Venturing Scouts on the morning of Tuesday, June 18th at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Downtown, Los Angeles.
The ‘2019 Business Leader of the Year’ is Christopher Rising, co-founder and CEO, of Rising Realty partners. There will be a special tribute to Nelson Rising, Chairman, of Rising Realty Partners.
Recent ‘Leaders of the Year’ include:
- Christopher C. Martin, FAIA; Chairman and CEO of AC Martin
- Steven A. Ballmer, owner of Los Angeles Clippers
- James G. Ellis, former Dean of USC Marshall School of Business
- Timothy J. Sloan, former President and CEO of Wells Fargo Bank
The Business Leaders’ Breakfast is a networking event for the Greater Los Angeles Area business community. The proceeds benefit more than 27,000 young men and women of Scouting in our community and support Scouting throughout Los Angeles, including our inner-city outreach efforts, so that more youth may benefit.
