Current Role

Scott brings extensive experience in operating and engineering mission-critical infrastructures, telecommunications, central office, and data centers. Prior to Rising’s ownership of West7Center, Scott was the Vice President of Critical Facilities Manager at the Garland Center, where he successfully oversaw day-to-day operations, project and budget management of the Garland Center.

When he’s not immersed in the data center world, Scott enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Apart from his interpersonal connections, he finds fulfillment in gardening and playing soccer.

Experience & Expertise

Scott has amassed over 30 years of in-depth knowledge and expertise in operating and engineering mission-critical infrastructures, telecommunications, central offices, and data centers. His industry recognition stems from his impressive career, which includes senior managerial and technical roles in leading telecommunications companies. Notably, he served as the Director of Network Operations for a global telecommunications company for 13 years, overseeing operations in Asia, Europe, and North America. Scott graduated in electrical and telecommunications engineering from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, along with a bachelor degree in information technology.
