John Caley

John is currently serving as Head of Capital Markets and Acquisitions for Rising Realty Partners out of the
Los Angeles Office. He will be managing global capital relationships for Rising as well as seeking
portfolios and M&A acquisition opportunities. “Focusing on relationships and not transactions is how

John is married and he and his wife live in Park City, UT where they ski, mountain bike, hike, fish and
enjoy the outdoors. They have two daughters.

Experience and Expertise

He is a 30+ year real estate investment executive with a combination of senior‐level operational, capital
markets, and investment management experience across multiple cycles and sectors. He has overseen
$8.8B in AUM, $4.7B in acquisitions and $2.6B over direct investor equity. He has managed teams of up
to 350 professionals while operating in senior management and C-suite roles for firms including Grubb &
Ellis, Rexford Industrial, Transwestern, Capital Hall Partners, Walnut Investors and Probitas Partners. His
background spans global capital raise, portfolio management, structured finance, investment strategies,
entity formation, and institutionalization of operating platforms. He has exercised management over a
50M SF of real estate through multiple portfolios. Caley also has deep global experience with both
institutional and UHNW investors and has created multiple joint ventures tailored to specific strategies.
He has advised or managed more than $3.5B of investor equity over the course of his career.
