Over his 30-year career, R. Todd Doney, Vice Chairman at CBRE’s headquarters in Los Angeles, has completed commercial real estate transactions encompassing over 86 million square feet of office space.

Todd is a preeminent broker in the greater Los Angeles area. His success on behalf of tenants, investment clients, and landlords is unparalleled. He has represented such major institutional tenants as Nestle, KPMG, GE/NBC, AT&T, Southern California Edison, AECOM, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cigna and Northern Trust.

During his career, Todd has received numerous real estate awards and accolades. Every year since joining CBRE, Todd has been awarded the Colbert Coldwell Circle Award, an award presented to the top 3% of producers in the U.S. In 2006, Todd was the most successful office broker for the company in the entire U.S. excluding the New York Metropolitan area. In 2009, Todd was recognized as the most successful broker in the Western United States and the ninth most successful broker in the entire world. He was recognized by The Los Angeles Business Journal as a “Top Los Angeles Broker” numerous times. He was further singled out by receiving the prestigious Edward S. Gordon Memorial Award for his relentless drive to be the best, challenging himself and those around him. Also, he was a member of CBRE Americas Advisory Board as well as the CBRE Foundation Board.

Prior to joining CBRE, Todd was an Executive Managing Director with Insignia/ESG, Inc. in Los Angeles for four years, and prior to that a Senior Vice President with Cushman Realty Corporation for fifteen years. He has published articles and lectured at national real estate conferences, U.C.L.A. Graduate School of Management, and U.S.C Master of Real Estate Development program.

Todd maintains a high level of community and charitable involvement. He was on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and chaired the Board Development Committee of the San Gabriel Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2008, he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award, the highest Boy Scout honor given to leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the Council. Todd is also on the Advisory Board and Development Committee for the Hathaway-Sycamores; is on the Board of the Metropolitan YMCA as well as the Physical Resources Committee of Loyola High School; and served on the Development Committee and Chairman of the Board Affairs Committee of the Board of Directors of the Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena. Todd is a member of the Jonathan Club, the California Club, the Valley Hunt Club, and the San Gabriel Country Club, where he served as President in 2000. Todd is also a member of the downtown Los Angeles Town Hall, CoreNet, the Urban Land Institute, Southern California Development Forum, World Affairs Council, and the Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association.
