Rising Realty Partners (Rising) announced today that it has promoted Dan Klein to Vice President of Asset Management and Development. In this role, Klein is responsible for various development and asset management activities, including leasing, construction management, development analysis, and investor relations. Klein joined Rising’s asset management and development team in May of 2014.
The real estate assets in Klein’s current portfolio include several high-profile commercial office buildings in Downtown Los Angeles including The Trust Building, The CalEdison DTLA, and The Park Calabasas.
“It’s been a pleasure working with Dan and watching him grow since he joined the company 5 years ago,” said Christopher Rising, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rising. “This is a well-deserved promotion reflecting the time and hard work that Dan has put into managing Rising’s portfolio.”
Prior to Rising, Klein worked for Marshall and Stevens Capital, where he identified financial and strategic buyers through due diligence collection and review.
Prior to Marshall and Stevens, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 3rd round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. He played professionally through 2014 when a shoulder injury forced him to medically retire. Dan received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from UCLA where he was an All-American for the 2010 national runner up baseball team.
