LOS ANGELES – November 12, 2014 - Rising Realty Partners (RRP) has named Rachel Lee as Vice President of Asset Management and Development. In this position, Lee will assist RRP’s Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Development, Tyson Strutzenberg in overseeing the company’s asset management activities which includes leasing, construction management, and interfacing with investors for RRP’s rapidly growing 2.4 million square foot portfolio.

Prior to joining RRP, Lee served as Director of Asset Management for Karlin Real Estate. At Karlin, Lee oversaw the company’s asset management division for both the company’s equity and debt investment groups. At the time of her departure, the equity investment portfolio invested more than $614 million across 41 projects since 2009, while the debt investment portfolio originated approximately $542 million in loans over the same time period.
Lee previously served as Senior Director in Asset Management at CityView, a Los Angeles based institutional equity fund focused on urban based real estate investments, where she was responsible for the recommendation and execution of business plans for a portfolio of over 20 projects on the West Coast totaling more than 3,000 units and 150,000 SF of commercial space. Lee has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in supervisory roles with the Real Estate division, and for a private CPA firm in Austin, TX serving primarily real estate clients.
Lee holds a dual BBA in Business Honors and Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was also a Terry Foundation Scholar, and an MPA from the Graduate School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
